Equal bank limited Tanzania is a commercial Bank in Tanzania and it is one among the commercial Banks authorized by the central bank of Tanzania and also it is the country’s bank regulator. Equity bank opened it’s door for the first time on 9th February 2012 with only two branches which was branch of dar es salaam and the branch of Arusha center of excellence.
The equity bank limited Tanzania now has a total of eighty six branches in Dar es salaam, one in Arusha And another one in mwanza province. By June 2014 the equity bank limited Tanzania had mobilized more than eighty five thousand six hundred and seventy five (85675) customer accounts
Equity bank limited Tanzania is also a member of equity bank group with the headquarters in Nairobi Kenya which has got branches of financial services in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, south sudan and Tanzania.
